Chicken stew with chili and prunes
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg chicken breast fillet
- 5 dl broth
- 1-2 onions
- 100 g prunes
- 50 g raisins
- 20 g wholemeal flour
- 2 tbs honey
- a clove of garlic
- 1 tbs chili flakes
- 1 ts cinnamon
- 1/2 ts ground ginger
- 1/2 ts ground cumin
- salt, pepper
How to make it:
- Cut the chicken into cubes, season it with salt and pepper and brown it on some oil.
- Take it out of the oil and put aside. Sauté the finely chopped onions in the same oil, then add the pressed garlic.
- Add the flour and fry it a little bit.
- Add the spices, then the broth and bring it to a boil.
- Add the prunes, the raisins and the honey. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Put the chicken back into the sauce and cook for another 5 minutes or so.
- Serve it with rice.
