Chicken stew with chili and prunes

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 kg chicken breast fillet
  • 5 dl broth
  • 1-2 onions
  • 100 g prunes
  • 50 g raisins
  • 20 g wholemeal flour
  • 2 tbs honey
  • a clove of garlic
  • 1 tbs chili flakes
  • 1 ts cinnamon
  • 1/2 ts ground ginger
  • 1/2 ts ground cumin
  • salt, pepper

How to make it:

  • Cut the chicken into cubes, season it with salt and pepper and brown it on some oil.
  • Take it out of the oil and put aside. Sauté the finely chopped onions in the same oil, then add the pressed garlic.
  • Add the flour and fry it a little bit.
  • Add the spices, then the broth and bring it to a boil.
  • Add the prunes, the raisins and the honey. Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Put the chicken back into the sauce and cook for another 5 minutes or so.
  • Serve it with rice.
