Almond-oatmeal cookies
Ingredients:
- 200 g oatmeal
- 250 g wholemeal flour
- 130 g brown sugar
- 300 g butter (margarine)
- 10 tbs honey
- 1 ts baking soda
- 2 ts cinnamon
- 1 dl milk
- 2 ts almond-flavoring
- 100 g sliced almonds
How to make it:
- Melt the butter together with the honey, then add the sugar and the almond flavoring to it.
- Mix the dry ingredients and pour the butter-mixture into it. Add the milk and mix it until it smooth.
- Add the sliced almonds.
- Cover the batter and put it in the fridge for an hour.
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- Make the batter into little balls the size of walnuts. Put them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Keep at least a 5 cm distance between the balls, so they won't stick together when baking.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges start to darken.
